CCD Archive Rules

• All files and directories must have chmod 775 permissions.
• Directory structure must be /[devicename]/[filename]
  For example: /7086MBN1901/7086MBN1901.001.fits.gz
• All files must be FITS format.
• All files must be gzip compressed and have the .gz extension.
• All files must have correctly populated valid FITS headers.
• The CD name must be of the form: CCD_[number]. Where number is a running index of the number of archived CDs. When accessed from an ACS UNIX machine the full path to a file is of the form: /cdrom/[cd name]/[ccd device]/[filename]
• Each CD must be listed on the CCD reference table web page.
• Each CD must be entered into the CCD_LOG database via the ccd_acquire_disc IDL command.
